How ARAEA Works

ARAEA processes route and event data through a multi-stage analytical pipeline designed for accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Data Input

The engine begins with a GPX (or similar format such as FIT/KML) file representing a route. This file provides the foundational geometry—latitude, longitude, and elevation points.

Data Enrichment

Once ingested, ARAEA enhances this raw data using external datasets and derived calculations including LiDAR data, elevation smoothing, path width estimation, and surface inference.

Analytical Processing

With enriched data, ARAEA performs advanced analysis including gradient profiling, cornering analysis, accessibility scoring, and critical section identification.

Output Generation

The final output is a structured dataset (typically JSON) containing all derived insights. This can be consumed by front-end applications or used to generate reports, charts, and summaries.
